The system is intended for wear protection, restoration of component dimensions and corrosion protection. A high power capacity of 400 A enables fast processing of both hard and soft wires. With soft wires, coating rates of up to 32 kg/h are possible. The gun head is designed to provide low-turbulence, near-laminar air flow for high deposition rates and dense, low-oxide coatings, while voltage is measured directly at the gun to support repeatable process results.
MP3000-AR uses a modular architecture that combines the power supply, process console, wire-feed system, spray gun and compressed-air circuit. The final arrangement can be configured for machine-mounted automated operation or hand-held spraying, depending on the selected gun model and production requirements.
The 360GS power supply provides the electrical output required for wire arc spraying over a 15–38 VDC output range and 20–420 A output current range at 100% duty cycle. The PPC console manages process operation and works with the gun and wire-feed system to maintain stable spraying conditions.
Compressed air supplied to the console is specified at 2.4–4.2 bar with a flow range of 58–105 m³/h. MP3000-AR uses PLC technology for automation functions and diagnostic tests that can be interpreted directly by the operator.
A key MP3000-AR function is the load-sharing wire-feed method. The gun pull motor acts as the master feed motor, while the console motor automatically provides additional push force when required. This coordinated push-pull action stabilizes wire feed and permits wire conduit lengths up to 15 m.
The wire feed and clamping system uses an adjustable air-actuated clamp to improve feeding reliability across hard, soft and cored wire types. Fixed-position gun contact tips and a quick-release wire connector support repeatable operation and fast feedstock changeover.
The PPG is the CE-conformant machine-mount push-pull spray gun for MP3000-AR. It is designed for mounting on a robot or other gun-manipulation equipment where precise, repeatable motion is required. The gun uses low-turbulence, near-laminar atomizing-air flow and measures arc voltage at the gun to support stable coating results.
The PPGH is the hand-held MP3000-AR gun variant. An optional handle can provide integrated system-wide emergency stop and wire-speed control at the gun. The source data sheet notes that this handle configuration is not CE-conformant and is not offered in CE-conforming countries.
MP3000-AR can be configured with a range of optional hardware, cables, air caps and gun extensions to adapt the system to different wire materials, spray patterns and component geometries.
