Dense HVOF coatings for landing-gear parts, turbine-related components, engine hardware, and other high-value parts requiring controlled automated deposition and wear or corrosion protection.
The MP 3000 HVOF-GF Spray System is a dedicated industrial platform for gas-fueled high-velocity oxy-fuel coating. It combines the MP 3000 digital process-control architecture with the GST DJ2600 HVOF spray gun and a hydrogen/oxygen fuel package for repeatable production of dense, wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings.
The system coordinates fuel gas and oxygen delivery, carrier gas, powder feeding, gun cooling, ignition, process programs, diagnostics, safety functions, and connected automation equipment. It is designed for integration with industrial robots, workpiece positioners, soundproof spray booths, exhaust filtration, and other peripheral equipment required for a complete HVOF production system.
Each HVOF-GF system is configured around the coating specification, powder, component geometry, production rate, required automation level, and site conditions. The purpose of the platform is to provide a controlled and traceable gas-fueled HVOF process rather than a fixed one-size-fits-all package.

In the HVOF-GF configuration, gaseous fuel is metered and delivered to the spray gun together with oxygen through the Gas Management Center. The current GST configuration pairs the MP 3000 HVOF-GF process with the DJ2600 gun using hydrogen and oxygen. Accurate gas-flow and pressure control are critical for stable combustion, repeatable particle acceleration, and consistent coating quality.
The gas-fueled architecture avoids the liquid-fuel pump and remote liquid-fuel storage hardware required by HVOF-GF systems. This gives the HVOF-GF version a distinct process layout centered on controlled gas distribution, fuel-gas safety, gun cooling, powder feeding, and automation.
Digital
MP 3000 modular digital process control system
The Process Control Center coordinates the HVOF-GF system through a digital control architecture and HMI. It manages operating programs, alarms, connected modules, user access, process data, diagnostics, and maintenance information.

GST MCoat™ is the process-control environment used to operate and supervise the MP 3000 HVOF-GF platform. It combines gas delivery control, powder feeding, gun status, cooling supervision, diagnostics, process-data acquisition, program management, and external-module integration.
For gas-fueled HVOF production, stored operating programs and controlled user access help standardize hydrogen/oxygen process settings and maintain repeatable production between shifts and qualified coating recipes.
Main software functions
H₂ + O₂
Fuel / oxidizer
The Gas Management Center supplies and regulates hydrogen, oxygen, carrier gas, and other configured process gases. Features include high-precision mass flowmeters, in-line pressure regulators, gas pressure transmitters, gas microfilters, stainless-steel tubing and fittings, and fuel-gas leakage detection.
DJ2600
Gun interface: utilities, cooling-water monitoring, ignition
The Switching Module provides the interface between the process system and the DJ2600 spray gun. It manages gun utilities, cooling-water monitoring, ignition, and other process connections required by the configured gun package.

The powder feeder transports coating powder to the gun using carrier gas. The standard architecture can support up to four independent powder feed lines, with volumetric feeding, optional gravimetric control, 1.5 L or 5 L hoppers, heating, agitation, quick-change hoppers, and powder-level monitoring.
Forced-water
Cooling with dedicated refrigeration unit
The DJ2600 operates under high thermal load and requires reliable forced-water cooling. The refrigeration unit is selected to maintain stable cooling conditions throughout the coating cycle.
Robots + positioners
Industrial robots, gun manipulators, workpiece positioners
Industrial robots, dedicated gun manipulators, and workpiece positioners control the relative motion between the HVOF gun and the component, maintaining the required spray distance, angle, traverse speed, and trajectory.
Booth + filtration
Soundproof spray booth; exhaust and filtration unit
A complete HVOF-GF cell can include a soundproof spray booth and exhaust/filtration unit. HVOF spraying generates high noise, heat, dust, and overspray, so engineered acoustic enclosure and extraction are integral to industrial installation.

The MP 3000 HVOF-GF configuration is built around a gas-fueled HVOF gun package. The current GST DJ2600 is the best compatible HVOF-GF gun for the MP 3000 HVOF-GF spray platform.
The MP 3000 HVOF-GF is a configurable gas-fueled HVOF coating platform. Final suitability depends on the coating specification, powder, substrate, component geometry, DJ2600 process window, qualification requirements, and production rate.

Dense HVOF coatings for landing-gear parts, turbine-related components, engine hardware, and other high-value parts requiring controlled automated deposition and wear or corrosion protection.

Protective coatings for valve components, pump shafts, drill tools, seals, and other parts exposed to abrasion, erosion, corrosion, or combined wear mechanisms.

HVOF processing of turbine seals, wear rings, rotating equipment, and other components where surface durability and coating repeatability are important.
Wear-resistant coatings for hydraulic rods, extrusion screws, mining components, rolls, shafts, and other industrial parts subjected to sliding, abrasive, or erosive wear.
Metallic and alloy coating applications for components requiring improved corrosion resistance in aggressive or marine environments.
The MP 3000 HVOF-GF Spray System is a modular industrial gas-fueled HVOF coating platform designed for automated and robotic production. It combines precise control of oxygen, fuel gas, powder feed and auxiliary process parameters to produce dense, high-quality coatings with repeatable spray conditions. The system can be integrated with industrial robots, manipulators, positioners, spray booths and filtration equipment to form a complete HVOF production cell.
The current GST MP 3000 HVOF configuration identifies the DJ2600 as the compatible gas-fueled HVOF gun.
The DJ2600 configuration uses hydrogen as fuel with oxygen as oxidizer.
No. The HVOF-GF architecture is based on gaseous fuel and therefore does not use the dedicated liquid-fuel storage and pump arrangement associated with HVOF-LF.
The HVOF-GF system is equipped with a fuel-gas leak detection system for continuous monitoring of the equipment area and gas-control enclosure. If the detected gas concentration exceeds the preset safety threshold, the system generates an alarm and initiates a protective shutdown of the fuel-gas supply, preventing ignition or continued operation under unsafe conditions.
Yes. GST MCoat™ provides online process monitoring and recording, program management, diagnostics, user-access levels, maintenance functions, and resource-consumption accounting.
The system operates with a hydrogen (H₂) gas flow of 730 NLPM at 9.7 bar, and a water-cooled oxygen (O₂) flow of 307 NLPM at 12 bar.
